I wanted a piece that would convey the state of the Ringgold, Ga community many years after a tornado tore through the town. The tear represents the scars that the storm left, however, the tear doesn't go all the way through, showing the community was torn not broken. The flowers represent the community and the beauty it holds, and the tape is a reminder of the day the storm passed through.
